The accompanying animals of giant pandas

The accompanying animals of giant pandas include golden monkeys, red pandas, forest musk deer, antelopes, blood pheasants, and red bellied golden pheasants. These precious animals basically live in the same environment as pandas. From the perspective of natural history, they are all ancient animals from one million to several million years ago. They share a common bitter experience and have been subjected to glacier attacks and severe tests. However, they have effectively relied on the favorable terrain of the high mountains and deep valleys in southwestern China to survive to this day. They live together in the same area through long-term coexistence and coordination, but each occupies their own space, has a division of nutrition, day and night activities, and seasons are also uneven and coordinated. Through food as a link, they form a relatively stable animal group.

Although giant pandas are isolated from the world, there are still some animals that are enemies of them in their habitat, such as the golden cat, leopard, jackal, wolf, yellow throated mink, etc. However, these animals usually only attack the young and sick elderly among giant pandas, because young and strong giant pandas still have the ferocity of their carnivorous ancestors, and when faced with strength, they are formidable to enemies and do not pose a threat to adult healthy giant pandas. Once the seemingly docile and naive giant pandas in the zoo are provoked, there are also incidents of injury.
